Of the great classics, this work remains the quintessential ballet of all time, with its glorious musical score, breathtaking choreography based on Petipa, and magnificent sets evoking Imperial Russia and the hauntingly beautiful countryside. Drawn from Russian folk tales, Swan Lake tells a story of romance, sorcery, and betrayal, all centered on one of life’s most universal themes – the struggle between good and evil
