Camp Fire provides outstanding programs for more than 1,100 children and families in the Greater Lakeland area, 60% of which are from financially at-risk households. Camp Fire is hosting Lakeland PigFest on Thursday, January 23, 2020 through Saturday, January 25th, 2020 to raise funds for Camp Fire Sunshine’s programs for youth. Camp Fire is in need of Directing Parking Volunteers.
As a Camp Fire volunteer, you will be directing cars as they enter the grounds and helping make sure the parking lots are organized and efficient. The atmosphere is fast paced and busy, yet fun. You will be outside, on your feet in varying weather conditions, so we ask that you come prepared with comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the day/night.
Parking volunteers must be at least 16 years old. As per PigFest rules, all teens MUST have a waiver signed by a parent, or they will NOT be allowed to volunteer. The waiver may be printed off below.
There will be snacks, water and bathroom breaks available. Camp Fire volunteers will receive a dump cake voucher to redeem at the festival, so that you can not only work, but also take time to play.
There are 3-4 hour shifts available each day from January 23-January 2020
You can sign up to volunteer online at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0a4bacaa2fab9-pigfest3
